Terms of Service — LogBeyond

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using LogBeyond (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and LogBeyond.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use LogBeyond. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, complete, and current registration information
Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
Be solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

LogBeyond reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that have been inactive for an extended period.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Upload false, misleading, or inaccurate flight data
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
Transmit any malware, viruses, or malicious code
Harvest or collect information about other users without their consent

5. Pilot Logbook Data

LogBeyond is a digital tool to assist pilots in tracking their flight hours, progress, and training objectives. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter. LogBeyond does not verify the accuracy of any flight records and should not be used as a substitute for an official, certified paper logbook unless explicitly authorized by your aviation authority.

You retain full ownership of all flight data, goals, and records you submit to the Service. By using LogBeyond, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your data for the sole purpose of providing the Service.

6. Subscription and Billing

LogBeyond currently offers a free tier. A Pro subscription with advanced features may be introduced in the future. When available, the following will apply:

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
All payments are processed securely through a third-party payment provider
You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods unless required by law

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of LogBeyond — including but not limited to the software, design, text, graphics, and logos — are the exclusive property of LogBeyond and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. LogBeyond does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. You use the Service at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, LogBeyond shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or personal injury. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, your personal data and flight records will be permanently removed from our systems in accordance with our Privacy Policy. LogBeyond reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or through a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
